This project was selected as one of the finalists for the Asia Architecture Award in 2016. The four-story office building is situated on a 1,720 m² plot within Pardis Technology Park, with a total built-up area of 2,050 m². The building is divided into two main sections: office spaces and research & development.
The design concept distinguishes these functions through contrasting elements—darker, more enclosed volumes for the office areas and transparent, open volumes for the research and development spaces. A central cut through the building creates a greenhouse-like atrium, incorporating a bridge that connects the two wings. The main lobby is located at the entrance of this bridge.
The atrium is designed to adapt to climatic conditions, providing comfort during hot summers as well as cold, humid winters. The research and development wing features a transparent façade to maximize natural lighting and is wrapped in a double-skin system for sustainability. On the west side, the outer layer consists of 8 cm polycarbonate panels, while the inner layer is constructed with 15 cm gypsum panels, creating an efficient and durable envelope.
